Your membership is good for 3 years or until you file a claim for your benefit, whichever comes first.
If you have a $500 collision benefit you can change to $1000 and immediately reduce your insurance premium cost. Car and Driver magazine estimates this will save you about $400 per year in insurance. In case of accident, safetrips pays your deductible so you pay $0.
Filing a claim is simple and easy. You simply go to the website and hit the "file a claim" button. You can upload the necessary information onto the website and your claim will be processed within 48 hours.
Safe Trip Motor Club will pay a maximum benefit for you up to $1000 to cover your unexpected expense of a collision insurance deductible.
Unfortunately the membership benefit is non transferable since the membership is only sold with coverage for cars that are new or almost new.
